Name of Study

Young Adults Living with Multiple Ongoing Health Conditions: The Experience of Medication Management and Adherence

Purpose of Study

This study aims to gain a better understanding of the lived experience of managing multiple ongoing conditions. In particular we are interested in hearing about your experience of managing your medications and taking your medication as recommended by your doctor.

This study is in particular interested in the experience of young adults (18-30 years old) who are managing multiple ongoing physical or mental health conditions. Majority of research and the healthcare system is organised to cater for individuals within a single disease focus therefore often excluding individuals with more than one condition. Furthermore, research on adults managing multiple ongoing physical or mental health conditions tend to focus on older adults excluding younger adults. Therefore, this study will focus on the experience of managing multiple ongoing health conditions as a younger adult (18-30 years old). In particular, this study would like to get a better understanding of the experience of managing and taking medications as recommended by your doctor.

This study will involve completing a 30-minute interview over Microsoft teams. It will involve a number of demographic questions and questions about how you manage your ongoing conditions and your medications.
