In the Autumn 2020 edition of the Diabetes Ireland Members Magazine, Kathleen McDaid highlights that two of her daughters developed  type 1 diabetes within three months of each other in the early 1990’s and only two years ago, Kathleen’s granddaughter was also diagnosed.
