Free Parent Support Workshops Online (child under 13 years) for Louth & Meath

Are you a parent of a child with Type 1 diabetes and living in areas Louth or Meath?
Diabetes Ireland is hosting virtual Health and Wellbeing Support Workshops in May 2022 for parents of children under 13 years old with Type 1 Diabetes facilitated by Psychologist Dr Kate Gajewska, along with the opportunity for peer support from other parents.
Kate will discuss topics such as:
- psychological challenges associated with raising a child with diabetes-related to the developmental stages.
- diabetes distress.
- emotions associated with diagnosis and living with diabetes through the lifespan.
This workshop is limited to just 15 parents or guardians to allow for interaction within the group.

The latest date for registration is Friday, May 20th, 2022.
The workshops will be held via Zoom, parents who register will be contacted via email with participant guidelines and login details for the workshop of their choice.
These workshops are free to attend, thanks to support from National Lottery funding 2021.
