An education course, developed by Diabetes Ireland, is being run by Diabetes Ireland, Cork Care Centre, 36 Mary Street, Cork City.

The aim of the course is to help you manage your diabetes and it will cover topics such as diabetes knowledge and management, nutrition and physical activity and self monitoring of diabetes control.

The course will be run by Diabetes Irelands’, Regional Development Officer and Dietitian, Ms. Pauline Dunne.

The first session will be 2 ½ hours long and the remaining sessions 2 hours long including a tea/coffee break. There is no cost involved in attending this course.

Group numbers are limited to 16 so early booking is essential.

The course will be held at the new, Nano Nagle Heritage Centre, 36 Abbey St, Cork, T12 TFF6  (please use the Evergreen Street Entrance) :

Start date: Wednesday 24^th January 2018                           from 10.30am to 1pm

2nd week:     Wednesday 31^st January 2018                       from 11am to 1pm

3rd week:      Wednesday 7^th February 2018                      from 11am to 1pm

4th week:      Wednesday 20^th June 2018                             from 11am to 1pm
