Diabetes Patient Education Workshop Invitation

You are invited  to our Diabetes Patient Education meeting which will be held in Chartered Accountants House, 47-49 Pearse Street, Dublin 2 on Sunday 12 November from 2pm to 4.30pm.

 We will be running separate themed patient education streams for people with Type 1 diabetes including children and their parents and Type 2 diabetes. Each stream will have 3 presentations which will focus on the issues of interest to you.

The title of the meeting is “Coping with the Complexities of Diabetes through technology, research and personal self-education” and the overall purpose is to educate and inform people with diabetes on how best to control their condition emotionally and practically and through positive protect action their future health.

We have a wide range high quality presenters on the day all speaking on best practice management (see agenda for details on the individual workshops).

We will also be celebrating life at an awards ceremony with a host of people receiving a medal in recognition of living well with Type 1 diabetes for 50 years and for 65 years.
