When your child receives a diagnosis of diabetes it can be a frightening time for you and your child. Diabetes can be a difficult condition to understand at first but there are plenty of resources available to you. Diabetes Ireland and your child’s healthcare team are here to help and support your family during this time. The good news is that there are a lot of great treatments available and researchers working to find even better treatments so there is no reason your child can not live a healthy and fulfilled life with diabetes.
