Diabetes technologies, such as Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs), insulin pumps, and hybrid closed-loop systems, are transforming the lives of people with Type 1 diabetes. Just a few years ago, access to CGMs was limited, and awareness of insulin pump therapy was low. Today, there is unprecedented access to CGMs, and hybrid closed-loop ‘artificial pancreas’ systems are becoming a reality.

Despite this progress, opportunities to learn directly from healthcare professionals about these technologies are rare. That’s why Diabetes Technology Network Ireland (DTN IRL), in collaboration with Diabetes Ireland, is hosting a technology information meeting in Dublin. This event is designed for people living with Type 1 diabetes and parents/carers of children with Type 1 diabetes living in Donegal.

At this meeting, you will:
