Have you ever wanted to sit face to face with the diabetes experts outside of a hospital setting to learn more about your condition?

Diabetes Ireland is delighted to offer you this opportunity. In partnership with Novartis, we have gathered four experts from a variety of fields in the area of diabetes to answer YOUR questions. To do this, join us in the Rochestown Park Hotel, Cork on Monday 19th October from 7-9pm.

On the night, each speaker will give a 5 minute introduction on their topic. Following this, you and fellow attendees will be divided into small groups (no more than 13) at a round discussion table. Our experts will move from table to table in rotation for a 15 minute Q&A sessions. This should allow for easy conversation and give you the opportunity to ask them anything you like about your diabetes, or just listen.

• Carbohydrates and how to control blood glucose. What do I need to know?

o    Ms Margaret Humphreys, Senior Dietitian, Cork University Hospital

• Understanding my numbers; why blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose levels are so important.

o    Ms Jenny Dunbar, Diabetes Nurse Specialist, Diabetes Ireland

• Tips for self-management of your feet

o    Ms Alexandra Ryan, Senior Podiatrist, Diabetes Ireland
