Lean Proteins (turkey, prawns, ham), Vegetables (brussel sprouts, carrots, beets) and Soups are all healthy and nutritious foods that traditionally appear on the Christmas table. The treats are the bread or potato stuffing, the roast spuds, the sauce and of course the puddings! Here is where portion-size comes in. However, avoid the “rubbish” as much as possible, the tins of biscuits and tubs of sweets, they can leave us feeling sickly. Out of sight=Out of mind.
