Who doesn’t like a biscuit with a cuppa? A sweet bite or a biscuit to dunk and a relaxing cup of tea or coffee often go hand in hand. But, while they might be little in size and therefore look relatively harmless, appearances can be incredibly deceiving!
The 2016 National Healthy Eating guidelines advise us to “limit high fat, sugar and salt foods from the top shelf of the food pyramid to no more than once or twice per week”, because these foods have little nutritional value.
