SUMMARY:Free Code Type 2 Group Education Meetings (Online) June Dates
DESCRIPTION:The groups are facilitated by Diabetes Ireland Health Professionals\, a Nurse or Dietitian\, and kept to a maximum of 12 participants in a relaxed environment sharing and hearing people’s own experiences. \nEach CODE (Online) programme consists of 4 sessions. \nThe first 3 sessions are over 3 consecutive weeks\, and the final session occurs 6 months later. \nEach session is 2/2.5 hours in duration. \nJune 14th\, 21st & 28th\, and the final session will commence on November 29th. SUMMARY:Teddy Bear Picnic
DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to announce we are holding A Family Picnic this year. The venue is ‘Leahy’s Open Farm’  Co. Cork\,  on Sunday 25th June 2023 at 12.30 pm. \n  \n  \nThis event is open to families of children living with Type 1 diabetes a standard entry fee to the farm is €10.50 per child and €8 per adult. Diabetes Irelands\, Parents Group will charge €30 per Family and subsidise the rest.  \nPlease bring a Picnic. We will start by having our picnic at 12.30 pm. After lunch the group will be guided around the farm where children will get to pet the small animals and take a ride on the Barrel Train\, we encourage people to stay as a group while visiting the Farm as this will help people to interact and get to know each other.  \n  \n  \nPlease return the booking form and payment to the above address or email charlotte.pearson@diabetes.ie  to take part in this activity as soon as possible\, as we will not accept bookings after Monday\, June 19th  2023. \n  \nWe look forward to hearing from you and seeing you on the day.  \n
