Diabetes Ireland is delighted to offer you this opportunity. In partnership with Novartis\, we have gathered four experts from a variety of fields in the area of Type 2 diabetes to answer YOUR questions. \n  \nLocation:  Dromhall Hotel\, Muckross Road\, Killarney\, Co. Kerry \nDate: Thursday\, May 5th\, 2016   Time: 7pm – 9pm. \nOn the night\, each speaker will give a 5 minute introduction on their topic. Following this\, you and fellow attendees will be divided into small groups at a round discussion table. Our experts will move from table to table in rotation for 15 minute Q&A sessions. This meeting provides ‘live’ expert advice and it is free to attend.  Pauline will cover current nutrition recommendations for ‘free sugar’ intake\, highlighting sources of sugars people may not be aware of\, which may impact on a person’s diabetes self-management. \n“Our intake of sugar has increased dramatically over the last 10 years and where fizzy drinks and sweet foods are the obvious culprits\, many people are not aware of many other foods which also contain large amounts of ‘free sugars’” said Pauline. \n. \n  \n2. Dr Lisa Hynes\,  Health Psychologist\,  Health Behaviour Change Research Group\,  NUI Galway \nLisa  explores ways to help us put health advice into practice.  \n  \n3.
