DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to announce we are holding A Family Picnic this year. The venue is ‘Leahy’s Open Farm’  Co. Cork\,  on Sunday 25th June 2023 at 12.30 pm. \n  \n  \nThis event is open to families of children living with Type 1 diabetes a standard entry fee to the farm is €10.50 per child and €8 per adult. Diabetes Irelands\, Parents Group will charge €30 per Family and subsidise the rest.  \nPlease bring a Picnic. We will start by having our picnic at 12.30 pm. After lunch the group will be guided around the farm where children will get to pet the small animals and take a ride on the Barrel Train\, we encourage people to stay as a group while visiting the Farm as this will help people to interact and get to know each other.  \n  \n  \nPlease return the booking form and payment to the above address or email charlotte.pearson@diabetes.ie  to take part in this activity as soon as possible\, as we will not accept bookings after Monday\, June 19th  2023. \n  \nWe look forward to hearing from you and seeing you on the day.  \n

DESCRIPTION:Diabetes Ireland is delighted to invite you to join us at the 2023 Teen Activity Day\n  \n \n  \nThe aim of the day is to bring together as many teens with diabetes as possible and for them to have a fun\, relaxed day and meet other teens with diabetes. Over the years\, our teens have made lifelong friends and we really hope you will join us on the day and become part of our growing Teen Type 1 Diabetes community. \n  \nThis year\, we have booked 4 activity centres in various locations around the country on Friday 7th July 2023. \n  \n  \nDuring the day\, participants will undertake water-based and land-based activities.
