DESCRIPTION:Structured education course for Type 2 & Pre-diabetes \nCODE is Diabetes Ireland’s  group education programme for people with Type 2 Diabetes or diagnosed Pre-diabetes.  CODE aims to deliver general information about diabetes self-management in a local community group setting. CODE allows people with diabetes to talk in a supportive atmosphere about their own diabetes. Time is allocated during the programme for problem solving\, feedback on diabetes self management behaviours and goal setting. \nThe programme is facilitated by Ms. Clair Naughton\, Diabetes Nurse Specialist  and consists of 4 sessions of 2 hour duration.
