DESCRIPTION:Have you ever wanted to sit face to face with the diabetes experts outside of a hospital setting to learn more about your condition?  \nDiabetes Ireland is delighted to offer you this opportunity. In partnership with Novartis\, we have gathered four experts from a variety of fields in the area of diabetes to answer YOUR questions. To do this\, join us in the Rochestown Park Hotel\, Cork on Monday 19th October from 7-9pm. \nOn the night\, each speaker will give a 5 minute introduction on their topic. Following this\, you and fellow attendees will be divided into small groups (no more than 13) at a round discussion table. Our experts will move from table to table in rotation for a 15 minute Q&A sessions. This should allow for easy conversation and give you the opportunity to ask them anything you like about your diabetes\, or just listen.  \nThe experts and their topics are: \n\nGood Eye Health & the Diabetic Retina Screen Service\n\no    Mr. Mark James\, Consultant Ophthalmologist\, Cork University Hospital \n\nCarbohydrates and how to control blood glucose.
