SUMMARY:National Teen Activity Day
DESCRIPTION:Our Teen Activity Day allows teenagers living with diabetes a chance to meet other teenagers with diabetes\, make friends and most importantly\, have some fun!! Our teens are given the opportunity to try out new activities such as zorbing\, archery\, zip lining. This is always a great day out and a great place to make friends for life.This years Teen Activity Day will take place on the Friday\, July 10th\, 2015 at following venues: \n\nSligo: Northwest Adventure Centre\nKerry: Eclipse Activity Centre\nGalway: Dunmore Adventure Centre \nOffaly: Birr Outdoor Education Centre\n\nTransport: We do plan to run buses from a number of paediatric clinics to each of the centres where we have adequate numbers (minimum of 5). Further information on the bus routes will be made available nearer the time.  \nCost: Diabetes Ireland will cover the majority of the costs for this event but we are asking each participant to pay a nominal fee of €20 to secure their place.  \nPlease note: This event is open to all Diabetes Ireland members aged 10-16 but it is never too late to join.
