DESCRIPTION:An education course\, developed by Diabetes Ireland\, is being run by Diabetes Ireland in Templemore\, Co. Tipperary \nThe aim of the course is to help you manage your diabetes and it will cover topics such as diabetes knowledge and management\, nutrition and physical activity and self monitoring of diabetes control. \nThe course will be run by Diabetes Ireland\, Regional Development Officer and Senior Dietitian\, Ms. Pauline Dunne. \nThe first session will be 2 ½ hours long and the remaining sessions 2 hours long including a tea/coffee break. There is no cost involved in attending this course. \nThe course will be held at the Mc Auley Community Centre\, Templemore\, Co. DESCRIPTION:Structured education course for Prediabetes & Type 2\nCODE is Diabetes Ireland’s  group education programme for people with Type 2 Diabetes or diagnosed Pre-diabetes.  CODE aims to deliver general information about diabetes self-management in a local community group setting. CODE allows people with diabetes to talk in a supportive atmosphere about their own diabetes. Time is allocated during the programme for problem solving\, feedback on diabetes self management behaviours and goal setting. \nThis course is now FULL \nWeek 4 This course is now full.
