SUMMARY:FERBANE\, CO OFFALY – Type 2 & Pre-diabetes Education Course (CODE)
DESCRIPTION:An education course\, developed by Diabetes Ireland\, is being run by Diabetes Ireland in Ferbane\, Co Offaly \nThe aim of the course is to help you manage your diabetes and it will cover topics such as diabetes knowledge and management\, nutrition and physical activity and self monitoring of diabetes control. There is NO COST to attend \nThe course will be run by Diabetes Ireland\, Regional Development Officer and Dietitian\, Ms. Pauline Dunne. \nThe first session will be 2 ½ hours long and the remaining sessions 2 hours long including a tea/coffee break. There is no cost involved in attending this course. \nThe course will be held at the Mary Ward Heritage Centre\, Fair Green\, Ferbane\, Co Offaly \nWeek :1 Friday March 13th 2020 from 10:30am – 1pm \nWeek 2: Friday 20th March 2020 from 10:30am – 12:30pm \nWeek 3: Friday 27th March 2020 from 10:30am – 12:30pm \nWeek 4: Friday 11th Sept 2020 from 10:30am – 12:30pm \n**(You will get a reminder letter for week 4 )** \nYou are asked to attend all four sessions to get maximum benefit from the course. \nFor more information or to book the course call Regina on 071 9146001 or email wro@diabetes.ie
