SUMMARY:Sligo/Leitrim Parent Support Summer Event
DESCRIPTION:The Sligo/Leitrim parent support group have finalised their Summer Party for Children and Teens with diabetes and their brothers and sisters \n Activities on the day include:  \n\nStand Up Paddling for the Over 12’s\nRiver Shannon Dragon Boat Experience for the Under 12’s. (Parents must accompany children on the Dragon Boat).\nBouncy Castle for the younger kids.\nSee https://carrickboatbike.com for more details on the venue.\n\nNEW FOR THIS YEAR \nCube Challenge Games –  the over 7’s can compete against each other to see how they perform under pressure \n  \nVenue:   Carrick Boat and Bike Hire \nDate:    Sun 7th August \nTime : 12 noon – 4.00pm. \nFood:     A selection of sandwiches\, crisps and sugar free juice/water will be provided for the children and teens for lunch.   Please feel free to bring any additional snacks required as there is nowhere nearby to buy food. \nAdmission: €5 per child (for Diabetes Ireland Members) otherwise €7 for non-members \nIf you would like to attend email  Type1ParentsSligoLeitrim@gmail.com   or \ntext  please do so to Michelle at 086 3754856    or \nForms available from Diabetes Ireland\, Western Regional Office\, 1 Wine Street\, Sligo \nTo give us an idea of numbers\, register your interest by  2nd August. \n
