DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\nAre you a parent of a child with Type 1 diabetes and living in areas Dublin South & South West\, Kildare & Wicklow?\n  \nDiabetes Ireland is hosting virtual Health and Wellbeing Support Workshops in May 2022 for parents of children under 13 years old with Type 1 Diabetes facilitated by Psychologist Dr Kate Gajewska\, along with the opportunity for peer support from other parents. \n  \nKate will discuss topics such as: \n\npsychological challenges associated with raising a child with diabetes-related to the developmental stages.\ndiabetes distress.\nemotions associated with diagnosis and living with diabetes through the lifespan.\n\n  \nThis workshop is limited to just 15 parents or guardians to allow for interaction within the group. \n  \nTo register\,\nPhone our Cork Care Centre on 021 427 4229 \nEmail on corkcarecentre@diabetes.ie \n  \nPlease note: This is for areas Dublin South & South West\, Kildare\, and Wicklow only.
