SUMMARY:Free Adult Support Workshops Online for Louth & Meath
DESCRIPTION:This meeting is aimed at adults living with type 1 diabetes living in the Louth and Meath areas.\n  \nThe facilitator will be Dr Kate Gajewska\, Clinical Psychologist\, who also lives with Type 1 diabetes. \n  \nKate will discuss topics such as psychological challenges and emotional support associated with diagnosis and living with diabetes. \n  \nThere will also be an opportunity to hear from other people living with diabetes on various issues and we hope you will find the discussion both stimulating and positively motivating. \n  \nThis workshop is limited to just 15 participants\, to allow for interaction amongst the group. \n  \nThe latest date for registration is Friday 6th May\, however\, places are likely to fill up quickly and are on a first-come basis. \n  \nTo register\, please phone 01 8428118 or email info@diabetes.ie \n  \nThe workshop will be virtually over Zoom\, and we will contact you via email with participant guidelines and login details for the workshop. \n  \nThese workshops are free to attend\, thanks to support from National Lottery funding 2021. \n

SUMMARY:Free CODE Type 2 Group Education Meetings (Online) May Dates
DESCRIPTION:CODE (Online)  aims to deliver general information about diabetes self-management in a supported online setting. \nThe groups are facilitated by Diabetes Ireland Health Professionals\,  a Nurse or Dietitian\, and kept to a maximum of 12 participants in a relaxed environment sharing and hearing people’s own experiences. \nEach CODE (Online) programme consists of 4 sessions\, The first 3 sessions are over 3 consecutive weeks\, and the final session takes place 6 months later.
