Are you from areas Laois\, Offaly\, Longford\, or Westmeath?\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDiabetes Ireland is delighted to offer you this opportunity. We are facilitating this interactive educational session online\, for people living with Type 2 diabetes.\n\n\n\n\nWhat to Expect\nOnce the Podiatrist and Dietitian are introduced to the audience – the attendees are divided into 2 smaller groups as this format allows for easy conversation and gives everyone the opportunity to ask questions  – or just to listen. After 20 minutes your expert will leave your group and you will be joined by the other health professional.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWednesday 9th March 2022\n10.30- 11.30 am\nYou are welcome to log in from 10.15 am\n\nOur Local Professionals for the session are:\n\nMs Eva Grace\, Senior Community Diabetes Dietitian\n&\nMs Siobhan Kenny\, Senior ​Podiatrist in Primary Care\n\n\n\n\nPlease note:\nIf you are registering by email\, be sure to let us know that you are registering for  “Ask the Expert” meeting on March 9th at 10:30 am to ensure you are signed up for the correct meeting.\n\nThe session will be held via Zoom\, and we will contact you via email with participant guidelines and login details for the session.

DESCRIPTION:CODE (Online)  aims to deliver general information about diabetes self-management in a supported online setting. \nThe groups are facilitated by Diabetes Ireland Health Professionals\,  a Nurse or Dietitian\, and kept to a maximum of 12 participants in a relaxed environment sharing and hearing people’s own experiences. \nEach CODE (Online) programme consists of 4 sessions\, The first 3 sessions are over 3 consecutive weeks\, and the final session takes place 6 months later.
