SUMMARY:Clonroche/Adamstown – Type 2 & Pre-diabetes Education Course (CODE)
DESCRIPTION:An education course\, developed by Diabetes Ireland\, is being run by Diabetes Ireland in Clonroche Community Centre. Co Wexford \n  \nThe aim of the course is to help you manage your Type 2 or pre- diabetes\, The meeting is in a small group where ideas  and tips on managing diabetes are discussed within the group. it will cover topics such as diabetes management and treatments\, healthy eating  with diabetes -and what is good to know\, physical activity  and ideas for motivation and  changing behaviours. \n  \nThere is NO COST to attend \nThe course will be run by\, Jenny Dunbar \, Diabetes Nurse with Diabetes Ireland. \nThe first session will be 2 ½ hours long and the remaining sessions 2 hours long including a tea/coffee break. \n  \nThe course will be held at Clonroche Community Centre \nWeek 1 Wednesday 11th March 2020 from 10.45- 1pm \nWeek 2 Wednesday 18th March 2020 from 10.45- 12.45pm \nWeek 3: Wednesday 25th  March 2020 from 10:45am – 12:45pm \nAt 6 months: Wednesday  23rd Sept 2020 from 10:45am – 12:45pm \n  \nYou are asked to attend all four sessions to get maximum benefit from the course. \nFor more information or to book to attend call Charlotte or Marion at 021 4274229  or emailcorkcarecentre@diabetes.ie
