SUMMARY:BOYLE – Type 2 & Pre-diabetes Education Course (CODE)
DESCRIPTION:An education course\, developed by Diabetes Ireland\, is being run by Diabetes Ireland in Boyle\, Co. Roscommon. \nThe aim of the course is to help you manage your diabetes and it will cover topics such as diabetes knowledge and management\, nutrition and physical activity and self monitoring of diabetes control. \nThe course will be run by Diabetes Ireland\, Regional Development Officer and Diabetes Nurse\, Ms. Clair Naughton. \nThe first session will be 2 ½ hours long and the remaining sessions 2 hours long including a tea/coffee break. There is no cost involved in attending this course. \nThe course will be held at the St Josephs Resource Centre\,The Warren\, Boyle\, Co. Roscommon . \nWeek 1: Thursday March 5th  2020 from 10:30am – 1pm \nWeek 2: Thursday March 12th  2020 from 10:30am – 12:30pm \nWeek 3: Thursday March 19th  2020 from 10:30am – 12:30pm \nWeek 4:  Thursday September 3rd 2020 from 10:30am – 12:30pm \n(you will be sent a letter to confirm) \nYou are asked to attend all four sessions to get maximum benefit from the course. \nFor more information or to book the course call Regina on 071 9146001 or email wro@diabetes.ie
