SUMMARY:Type 1 Diabetes Parents Support Workshop
DESCRIPTION:On Thursday the 21st of March\, Diabetes Ireland in conjunction with the Children’s Diabetes team in the Midlands Regional Hospital\, will be holding an interactive workshop for the parents of children with Type 1 diabetes. This meeting is for parents living in Laois and the surrounding areas\, and will take place in the Killeshin Hotel Portlaoise from 6:45pm-9pm. \n  \nThere will be two workshops taking place on the night: \n  \n\nFood Choices in Diabetes– facilitated by Ms Lorraine Kelly\, Senior Dietitian (Paediatric Diabetes)\nThe Impact of Diabetes on the Family– facilitated by Ms Kate Gajewska\, Psychologist and Diabetes Educator\n\n  \nAll parents attending on the night will have the opportunity to take part in both workshops. \n  \nPlaces are limited and registration is essential.
