SUMMARY:MONAGHAN- Type 2 Diabetes and Pre-Diabetes Education Course (CODE)
DESCRIPTION:An education course\, developed by the Diabetes Ireland\, is being run through your diabetes practice. \nThe aim of the course is to help you manage your diabetes and it will cover topics such as diabetes knowledge and management\, nutrition and activity and self-monitoring of your diabetes. \n  \nThe course will be run by: Sinead Powell\, Dietitian and Development Officer at Diabetes Ireland. \n  \nEach session will be 2 hours long and includes tea/ coffee break. There is no cost involved in attending this course. Group numbers are limited to 16 so early booking is essential. \n  \nThe course will be held in the Carrickmacross Workhouse\, Shercock Road\, Carrickmacross.  \n  \nStart date: \nWorkshop 1:                      Monday 19th 11am -1.30pm November \nWorkshop 2:                      Monday 26th 11am -1pm November \nWorkshop 3:                      Monday 3rd 11am-1pm December \nWorkshop 4:                      Monday 11th 11am-1pm March 2019 \n  \n  \nYou are asked to attend all four sessions to get maximum benefit from the course. \nIf you would like further information\, please contact Sheila Bourke at 01 8428118.
