SUMMARY:BIRR - Type 2 &  Pre-diabetes  Education Course (CODE)
DESCRIPTION:An education course\, developed by Diabetes Ireland\, is being run by Diabetes Ireland at the County Arms Hotel\, Birr\, Co Offaly \nThe aim of the course is to help you manage your diabetes and it will cover topics such as diabetes knowledge and management\, nutrition and physical activity and self monitoring of diabetes control. \nThe course will be run by Diabetes Irelands’\, Regional Development Officer and Dietitian\, Ms. Pauline Dunne. \nThe first session will be 2 ½ hours long and the remaining sessions 2 hours long including a tea/coffee break. There is no cost involved in attending this course. \nThe course will be held at the County Arms Hotel\, Birr\, Co Offaly \n\n1st week:  Thursday 15th  March from 10:30 – 1 pm \n2nd week:  Thursday 22nd March from 10:30 – 12:30 \n3rd week:  Thursday 29th  March from 10:30 – 12:30 \nAt 6 months   Thursday 13th Sept. from 10:30 – 12:30 pm \n  \nYou are asked to attend all four sessions to get maximum benefit from the course. \nFor more information or to book the course call Regina on 071 9146001 or email wro@diabetes.ie
