DESCRIPTION:Have you ever wanted to sit face to face with the diabetes experts outside of a hospital setting to learn more about your condition? Diabetes Ireland is delighted to offer you this opportunity. In partnership with Novartis\, we have gathered four experts from a variety of fields in the area of Type 2 diabetes to answer YOUR questions. \n  \nLocation:  Dromhall Hotel\, Muckross Road\, Killarney\, Co. Kerry \nDate: Thursday\, May 5th\, 2016   Time: 7pm – 9pm. \nOn the night\, each speaker will give a 5 minute introduction on their topic. Following this\, you and fellow attendees will be divided into small groups at a round discussion table. Our experts will move from table to table in rotation for 15 minute Q&A sessions. This should allow for easy conversation and give you the opportunity to ask them anything you like about your diabetes\, or just listen. \nThe 4 experts and their topics are: \n• “Good Eye Health & the Diabetic Retina Screen Service”\nDr Mark James\, Consultant Ophthalmologist\, Cork University Hospital\n• “Carbohydrates and how to control blood glucose.
